Butterfly Centerfold Rollaway 25 Review
The Butterfly Centrefold Rollaway 25 review has arrived. We will discuss the positives and the negatives as well as discuss some of the features that make the table so expensive and unique.
Perhaps the easiest way to sum up the quality of the table is to mention that it was specifically designed for the 2004 and 2005 U.S. Open ITTF Pro Tour Championships. That alone is enough to describe the quality of this table, however some of its features are definitely worth mentioning.
The Butterfly Centerfold is one of the featured tables in our article reviewing the best table tennis tables, take a look!
The specifications of the table are pretty straightforward since the table is in complete accordance with the ITTC rules. The legs, for example, are four hundred millimeters inwards so that the table is accessible for wheelchair competitors. Not only that, but the legs are all adjustable and have been made to accommodate all players while providing as comfortable a game as possible.
Not only will you be playing on a comfortable table, but arguably the best table tennis table designed yet. The 25mm Perfect Grip top is designed to increase the consistency and reliability of the bounce of the ball’s top spin and backspin shots, leading to a more enjoyable game.
The table is built by Butterfly, a leading manufacturer in table tennis tables and the company that provided tables for the 2012, 2014, and future 2016 World Table Tennis Championships. I doubt you will damage the table enough to need a repair, but the table’s warranty extends a whopping three years, showing the company’s trust and belief in the Butterfly Rollaway’s ability to perform.

There is not much to say for the achievements of a table that is used at the highest playing level possible. The price is quite expensive, but it’s worth the money if you want to play on a pro table tennis table such as this one. It was used in the 2012, 2014, and will be used at the 2016 World Table Tennis Championships. It doesn’t get any better than that!
While the price of the table is the really the only major drawback, if you want to play on the world's best table to date, you're going to have to pay for it. Otherwise, I would enjoy scouting for this top class table in the local club rooms and bars, as you won't play on a better table.
While this table may not have many obvious faults, it does have some disadvantages that should be noted. There is no play-back position so players can’t practice against themselves by folding one half of the table up like a wall. However, if they could design the same table while keeping the quality the same, while reducing the price, it would be the perfect table.
People generally complain that table tennis tables are hard to assemble well this one isn’t, because it comes pre-assembled. That’s right, open the box, roll it out and hook up the net and you are good to go. If you are looking for a pro quality table, and you don’t mind spending the extra money, this is the table for you. You won’t find a better table.
